Message of Salvation:
Condition of Man:
Rom. 3:23: “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” (NIV)
End Result of Sin:
Rom. 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” (NIV)
Cross of The Redeemer:
1 Peter 3: 18: “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit” (NIV)
Call to Believe:
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (NIV)
Jesus is coming back, and no one knows the hour. He is coming back for His church without wrinkle or spot. The fact of the matter is, you and I both know that we are not even promised to be living in the next minute. If you were to die today, where would you spend the rest of eternity?
What is your spiritual state? You are either saved and Heaven is your eternal home. Or you are spiritually lost and on your way to hell, where you will be tormented for all eternity with the devil.
"What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)
Membership Pledge:
1. I Will Guard the Unity of My Church
• By acting in love toward other members: "So let us concentrate on the things which make for harmony, and on the growth of our fellowship together" (Romans 14:19).
• By refusing to gossip: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building theirs up” (Eph. 4:29).
• By following the leaders: "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be no advantage to you" (Heb. 13:17).
2. I Will Share the Responsibility of My Church
• By praying for its growth: "To the church…we always thank God for you and pray for you constantly" (1Th 1:2).
• "Go out into the country…and urge anyone you find to come in, so that My house will be full" (Luke 14:23).
• By warmly welcoming those who visit: "So warmly welcome each other in the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified" (Rom 15:7).
3. I Will Serve the Ministry of My Church
• By "Serving one another with the particular gifts God has given each of you” (1 Pet. 4:10).
• By being equipped to serve by my pastors: "(God) gave some to be pastors and teachers to prepare God's people for works of ministry, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Eph. 4:11,12).
• By developing a servant's heart: "Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interest of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who … (took on) the very nature of a servant" (Phil. 2:3-4,7).
4. I Will preserve the Testimony of My Church
• By attending faithfully: "Let us not give up the habit of meeting together…but let us encourage one another" (Heb. 10:25).
• "But whatever happens, make sure that your everyday life is worthy of the gospel of Christ" (Phil 1:27).
• "Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it or offering" (1 Cor 16:2).
